TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Applies to nail courses only.

Please read carefully.

FOR STUDENTS:

  • During group courses, you practice on your own hand. 

For individual courses, participants have the option to provide their own model.

  • To be able to book any master course you have to show your accredited certificates from completed basic courses and have minimum 1 year experience as a nail technician.
  • DEPOSIT is non-refundable under no circumstances if you cancel your booking. Deposit must be paid to secure your booking. All training courses are booked on a first comes first basis.
  • If you paid the full amount and changed your mind you can request refund of total amount less deposit. 
  • Any balance remaining to be paid no longer than 48hrs before the course. Failing that, you’ll receive final reminder and will be given 12hrs to make a payment, otherwise your deposit is forfeited.
  • I reserve the right to cancel or reschedule courses 3 days before due to personal circumstances or insufficient number of students.
  • Group courses consist of a maximum 2-4 people.
  • All training start from 10.30am.

Working with nails requires perfect, undisturbed vision.

  • If you’re driving, please bear in mind that I’m based in the city centre.

Metered on-street parking is available on Dee Street for a maximum of 2 hours (£2.40 p/hr).
The closest multi-storey car parks are as follows:
College Street Car Park, Aberdeen
The Denburn Car Park, Spa St, Aberdeen
The Trinity Centre Car Park, Aberdeen
Union Square Car Park, Aberdeen.

  • If you have any food allergies or food preferences please let me know as soon as possible.
  • For MASTER courses it is important that you bring your own gel/ acrylic brush, cuticle scissors or nippers, thin art brush and apron due to the nature of the course.

If you prefer to work with your own e-file bits, files, etc you are more than welcome to bring it with you.

FOR CLIENTS:

1. LATE CANCELLATIONS.

I understand that sometimes life can be unpredictable. If, for whatever reason, you have to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please inform me at least 48hrs prior (or, if the booking was made on the same day – at least 3 hrs prior). Appointment canceled without a notice will incur a fee valued at 50% cost of the missed service.

2. LATE ARRIVALS.
I make an effort to avoid long waiting periods in the salon and therefore I ask my customers to be on time for their appointments. If you are running 10 minutes late, please let me know as soon as possible. the service may need to be adjusted to a shorter time frame. if you arrive at least 15 minutes late, you will be required to reschedule. Two or more cases of late arrivals will result in a £10 fee added to the bill. 
3. NO-SHOWS.
I believe in mutual respect and therefore ask my customers to always inform us about any emergencies that withhold them from arriving for their visit. if you miss your appointment without giving notice, you will be imposed with a fee valued at 100% of the entire cost of the missed service.
4. SERVICE GUARANTEES & REFUNDS.
My clients’ satisfaction is the highest priority for me. If you are not completely contented with the treatment, please let us know during your visit or within 24 hrs. I’m committed to making any needed corrections and if there was a fault on our side, to provide you with a redo and/or a refund.
5. HEALTH HISTORY.
Knowing the health history of our clients is an important factor in delivering a safe and comfortable experience, as well as a satisfying result. Sometimes even the smallest changes in the body chemistry can affect the results of the treatment. Hence, I politely ask my clients to always inform me of your allergies, physical issues, medications taken and/or pregnancy. 
6. THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE.
please, mind that under given circumstances, I may refuse service. I can do so if the person in question:
– is under the age 16,
– has health issues that may affect or be affected by the service,
– has purposely hidden information of crucial meaning to the service,
– did not show up for their last appointment and/or canceled it too late (see more in the no-how and late cancellation sections of the policy),
– behaves improperly and/or is intoxicated.
7. CHILDREN IN THE SALON.
Due to safety reasons, my salon has an adult-only policy. no children are permitted in the salon under no circumstances. 
8. MOBILE PHONES DURING TREATMENT.
Please, do not use mobile devices during your service. the client takes responsibility for all disruptions caused by going against this rule.
